BISITE Research Group’s academic offer this year includes a total of 8 master’s degrees, which are oriented to new technologies. Our fundamental mission is to train professionals capable of developing strategies for the advancement of the current industrial revolution, smart cities and global businesses.
Akash Aggarwal, from India, has joined our group recently and will spend some time with us, contributing his knowledge to projects related to IoT and blockchain.
We are witnessing how the internet is transforming the world, it is changing human interaction, commerce and trends. It is necessary to adapt to what the Internet means today and prepare for the changes that it is about to undergo.
It has been a pleasure for me to present a key note at the 7th International Engineering Sciences and Technology Conference (IESTEC), held in Panama. I met with some of my former PhD students there, they now lead a research group and conduct outstanding projects at the Technological University of Panama.
Today I gave the plenary session on AI, Blockchain and Edge Computing for Industrial Predictive Maintenance, at the “9th Workshop on Service Oriented, Holonic and Multi-agent Manufacturing Systems for Industry of the Future (SOHOMA19)” held at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
This is a project I am very proud of and which involved the development of smart hardware and software for the encryption of data that are stored with the blockchain technology.
