It has been a pleasure for me to present a key note at the 7th International Engineering Sciences and Technology Conference (IESTEC), held in Panama. I met with some of my former PhD students there, they now lead a research group and conduct outstanding projects at the Technological University of Panama.
This is a project I am very proud of and which involved the development of smart hardware and software for the encryption of data that are stored with the blockchain technology.
Denisa Reshef Kera joined our group several months ago and is going to stay with us until 2020. Denisa is the third Marie Curie Postdoc in BISITE.
The Dream Go project continues to make progress. Different countries, including USA, Germany, Portugal and Spain, have developed numerous systems as part of this project and we are already working on integrating them.
Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain have never been related to “project administration” so closely. Efficient Project management is fundamental for the management of business in public and private entities, especially if they are large infrastructures.
Blockchain is penetrating many sectors thanks to its security and transparency. These powerful qualities facilitate its application to different areas. Blockchain allows to manage information and carry out operations with complete security, for this reason, emblematic sectors, like the bank and finances, are the pioneers in the use of this technology and the leaders of many investigations.
I had the pleasure of participating as a speaker at the Seminar in Valladolid, organized by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and Leon (ICE), within the IOTEC project framework of the Interreg Spain-Portugal Program (POCTEP). At the event, we debated on the IoT and Blockchain as business drivers, exchanging ideas and information on these technologies.
