For decades, the application of artificial intelligence has brought numerous benefits to the field of finance. Now, with the rise of AI, both large and small companies have launched projects and developed new platforms and / or companies specializing in Fintech.
One of the greatest concerns of private entities like Public Administration is the security of the network. The safety of client data is essential for building loyalty. The BISITE Research Group is working in this field to help diverse entities. Our research is aimed at the elimination of problems created by SPAM messages, protection of relational databases against SQL injections and protection of Cloud Computing systems.
The 13th KMO Congress demonstrated progress in the application of Artificial Intelligence to knowledge management systems.
These adaptive systems have become more interactive and have a greater capacity to manage both large data and specific information in an agile and efficient manner.
This will be the 34th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium on Applied Computing, held in Limassol (Cyprus) from 8th to 12th of August 2019. I am pleased to be part of the organizing committee of the bioinformatics track, together with Paola Lecca and Dan Tulpan. This internationally renowned congress will once again bring together great researchers in the field of applied programming.
Over the course of the KMO Congress 2018 in Zilina (Slovakia), we presented several projects of the Bisite group in the field of Defense and Cyber Security. Since many years we’re working on interesting and far-reaching projects with companies and heads of security forces from different countries.

Artificial intelligence is in full swing and the world’s artificial intelligence researchers are currently gathering in Stockholm for the year’s largest event in this field, IJCAI (International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence). Hundreds of events take place at this conference, they tackle very interesting and topical issues.
It has been a pleasure for me to participate in the “1st Construction Engineering and Development Conference: International Workshops”, held from the 17th to the 22nd of July 2018, it was organized by the University of Mazandaran, Babolsar, Iran.
Not so long ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Lorna Uden, member of the Centre for Information, Intelligence and Security Systems (CIISS) from Staffordshire University. She visited the cities of Salamanca, Ávila and Zamora to select the future venue for the KMO and LTEC congresses.
Lately we have seen many news items talk about Internet security issues, data theft, companies unlocking their systems due to blackmail. All this news has caused increased interest in cybersecurity.
Internet security measures are taken to protect against attacks on the network. The most important measures are preventive; they consist in eliminating any potential dangers.
The cities of the 21st century cannot be understood without understanding their progressive technological development. Daniel Lopez, our colleague from BISITE, wins the FINTECH competition organized by the Russian Bank SBERBANK
The competition consisted in identifying a series of data analysis models and adapting their parameters to predict a series of financial parameters. Daniel managed to defeat even his biggest rivals. This contest was held within the framework of the ICML congress (https://icml.cc/) held in Stockholm in which we have participated.
The technological revolution has, over the last few years, converted 3D printers into tools that are used on a daily basis. They have become very important for the creation of low cost objects. Users discover new functionalities of 3D printers every day, as a result there is continuous progress in the quality of the printed products. Considering these facts, it is essential that we provide specific training in this area.
Technological development caused profound changes in our society. Changes that affect both the macroeconomy and the labour market as well as the daily life of citizens.
Information and communication technologies (ICT) have been the driving force behind many of these changes. A wide range of sectors in all kinds of companies require ICT, for this reason organizations need employees who have knowledge of multiple disciplines.
