Visit of Kenji Matsui, director of the Robotics and Design Centre of the Osaka Institute of Technology

Professor Kenji Matsui, visited us last week. He is the Director of the Robotics and Design Centre of the Osaka Institute of Technology. We’ve been collaborating with this centre for years and now it will be one of the three building blocks of the new Biodesign centre, which is being setup in Osaka by the Japanese government.

During his visit we’ve worked with some of their collaborators on the projects that will be developed in this centre; permanent members of the BISITE Group, as well as Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students, will continue to participate actively.

As a result of these projects we will obtain innovative drugs, robots, intelligent systems, etc. revolutionizing these fields of knowledge.

It is always a pleasure to spend time with Kenji, he is at the forefront of research in the area of robotics and it is not often that we can enjoy an opportunity like this one.

Hopefully, I will have more news for you soon.
