A few days ago, I gave a seminar on Artificial Intelligence: Deep Learning and Convolutional Networks at the Osaka Institute of Technology (ILO) for doctoral and master’s degree students. We’ve had an enjoyable and fruitful day together.
Artificial Intelligence has truly regained its popularity thanks to greater computing power and the development of Deep Learning and Convolutional Networks. Neural networks have undergone a period of hardships, but they are now delivering valuable results in very specific areas.
There are several groups that specialize in the area of IOT and we are working on new research projects with them. We are now pursuing theoretical and core research, which will hopefully provide us with the ability to solve complex problems in the fields of industrial engineering, simultaneous image and data processing, video and music processing. We have embarked on a journey and will soon be joined in the medium and long term by other research groups with plenty of potential
