Held every two years, this Conference returns to Salamanca after having been celebrated in all nine provinces of Castile & Leon.

Hospedería Fonseca of the University of Salamanca is currently hosting the Tenth Pharmaceutical Congress of Castile and Leon (X Congreso Farmacéutico de Castilla y León). The meeting, organized by the Council of Professional Associations of Pharmacists of Castile & Leon, has as its motto “YOUR PHARMACY IS YOUR HEALTH” and approaches concerns about topical issues in the hope of moving forward for the future of pharmacists and pharmacies in our community.

The scientific program of the Conference will allow reflection on the perception of pharmacy, where it should go and what healthcare fields it should develop. Issues related to pharmacy technology will also be addressed.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Regional Minister of Health, Antonio Sáez Aguado; the President of the General Council of Pharmacists of Spain, Jesús Aguilar Santamaria; The Mayor of Salamanca, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco; the President of the Academy of Pharmacy of Castile and Leon, Carlos Gomez, and the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Transfer of the University, Juan Manuel Corchado.
