USAL’s “Scientific Spring” highlights the role of women in science

Scientific Spring”, is celebrated with the collaboration of Salamanca’s City Council and Salamanca’s Foundation called the City of Culture and Knowledge, as well as the support of diverse entities and institutions.

Between the 4th and the 28th of May, workshops, visits, exhibitions and activities revolving around Artificial Intelligence, Biology, Agrobiology and Astronomy will take place in the R&D&I Building, the Fonseca Guesthouse, the San Francisco Park and the House of Shells.

A prominent topic of this new edition is the importance of women in science. The issue of gender gap in the field of science is tackled from different points of view. Exhibitions, PechaKucha, workshops and more causal meetings, such as Pint of Science, will promote science to all types of public.
