Dukhan – a city that thrives on oil production
I have had the privilege of visiting Dukhan, a city administrated by Qatar’s state oil agency, Qatar Petroleum, which manages its oilfields. Although the economy of this country relies mainly on NATURAL GAS, the headquarters of Qatar Petroleum are in the west of the country, from which it controls, coordinates and develops its oil projects.

Our colleague, Alfonso González Briones, is awarded for his PhD thesis
I would like to congratulate one of the BISITE members, Alfonso González Briones who received the second prize sponsored by Sensors, I SENSORS+CIRTI Award for the best national thesis on Smart Cities at the Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA), which had been held in Granada in October.
