Castile and León Computer Engineering Awards
Our group has been granted an award for the HERMES project, as the most outstanding work on the topic of Computer Science at the XII Computer Engineering Event of Castile and León, organized by the Engineering College (CPIICyL), in collaboration with the Pontificia University of Salamanca.
National Computer Science Awards
Congratulations to all those that have recently been awarded the National Computer Science Award. The purpose of these awards is to recognize the contribution of individual researchers, as well as public and private entities, to the field of computer science. They honour those who dedicate their time to the study, strengthening and disseminating knowledge of this scientific-technical discipline and are awarded by the computer science community and the Spanish Computer Science Society (SCIE).
ACM SAC CONFERENCE BIOINFORMATICS (BIO) Track 2019
This will be the 34th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium on Applied Computing, held in Limassol (Cyprus) from 8th to 12th of August 2019. I am pleased to be part of the organizing committee of the bioinformatics track, together with Paola Lecca and Dan Tulpan. This internationally renowned congress will once again bring together great researchers in the field of applied programming.
