The BISITE Group, the University of Salamanca and INCIBE promote cybersecurity training
The BISITE Research Group is coordinating the CyberCamp edition to be held over the next three years. The National Institute of Cybersecurity of Spain (INCIBE), and the University of Salamanca (USAL), have presented the CyberCamp-USAL program this morning, a benchmark cybersecurity training event for citizens and organizations, which is expected to attract 2,000 participants by 2025.

Juan Manuel Corchado, decorated with the Cross of the Order of Police Merit
Juan Manuel Corchado, director of the BISITE Research Group of the University of Salamanca, has been decorated by the National Police with the Order of Police Merit – a Cross with a White Badge. The insignia bestowal ceremony, which took place at the National Police School in Avila, recognizes professional careers, scientific studies or projects that provide prestige or are of great service to the Corps.

Cybersecurity and Data Science at C1b3rWall Academy
C1b3rWall Academy 2021 is coming to a close with Module 16 “Cybersecurity and Data Science”. In this last part we are joined by Carlos Loureiro from the National Police, Juan Antonio González Ramos from the University of Salamanca, Manuel López, Pablo Plaza and Juan Manuel Corchado from the BISITE Group.

IoT DIH organized a successful Community Day on Cybersecurity and Industry 5.0
“Community Day: Cybersecurity in Industry 5.0” took place today, organized by the IoT Digital Innovation Hub in the framework of the DIH World project. An opportunity for companies, government organizations, universities and students to come together and learn about the key aspects of cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 5.0.

Machine Learning for malware detection
Module 10 of C1b3rWall Academy 2021, “Forensic analysis. Malware and stealth techniques”, moves to the second block of content. It begins with a keynote lecture by Mario Guerra from Disruptive Consulting, which focuses on reducing, as much as possible, the advantage cybercriminals have in terms of their malware analysis capabilities.

Detecting vulnerabilities with pentesting
Module 9 of C1b3rWall Academy 2021-2022 is proving to be a great success. Today we have enabled the second part of the module on “Pentesting” with the participation of Eduardo Sanchez from ALLPENTESTING, Victor Flores from VIEWNEXT, Manuel Lopez and Pablo Plaza from the BISITE Research Group.

Pentesting tools
At C1b3rWall Academy 2021, Module 9 “Pentesting” has begun today. This course will be divided in two parts so that students can learn how to build scripts and tools for pentesting exercises through practical examples.
