During the International Conference on Case-Based Reasoning (ICCBR) held in Otzenhausen, Germany, I had the opportunity to attend some informative and exceptionally stimulating talks concerning Explainable AI (XAI), the theme of ICCBR 2019.
The 14th International Knowledge Management in Organisations Conference (KMO2019) and the 8th International Learning Technology for Education Challenges Conference (LTEC 2019) took place this week. I am the Chairman of the Scientific Committee of these two congresses organised by BISITE.

Dubai Creek Harbour is being built from scratch, it will be the central element of a new district and it promises to become the tallest building in the world.
Today LG showed us a prototype of its transparent TV. I’ve never had the opportunity to watch a transparent TV before, it was the first time I could see what it’s like! It has been an interesting experience and the prototype has a lot of potential.
Artificial intelligence is becoming an inseparable part of every aspect of our lives. AI in combination with the capacity we have today to build machines, develop sensors, vision systems, etc., is facilitating the creation of all kinds of interactive devices and technologies.
