Beginning of the Data Journalism Course organized by BISITE and the Professional Association of Journalists of Castile and Leon
The third Data Journalism Course will be offered as part of the collaboration between the BISITE Research Group and the Professional Association of Journalists of Castile and Leon.
This is an online course which has more than fifty students from various autonomous communities and has a duration of six weeks.
Yesterday, March 15th, I had the pleasure of attending a workshop at the EFREI School of Engineering. Together with my colleagues from this and other European universities, we promoted several international projects related to Blockchain, IoT and Smart Cities.
It is curious to see the expertise of this type of schools in France; the importance they give to quality master’s degrees and practical training, their model of internships in companies is also very interesting.
It was a huge pleasure to have Luis Pérez lead this morning’s training session. He is the creator of the IBM company and he presented us with the services available in his IBM Cloud (Iaas, Runtimes, DevOps, Analytics, IoT, Watson,Bluemix) and the Watson Cognitive Services.
On the 2nd of March an awards ceremony was held in order to deliver prizes to the participants of the 2017 Edition of the competition “Desafío Universidad Empresa” (Company-University Challenge), which is organized by the University-Company Knowledge Transfer Program.
