Salamanca City Council grants AIR Institute the use of the IoT and Artificial Intelligence Center

The mayor of Salamanca, Carlos García Carbayo, and Juan Manuel Corchado, president of the International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Foundation (AIR Institute), today signed an agreement through which the city council cedes to the foundation the use of the municipal building of the Center for Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, located on Santiago Madrigal Street.

AIR Institute to participate in the development of an Entrepreneurship Center in Santa Marta

The mayor of Santa Marta, David Mingo, and the president of the AIR Institute Foundation, Juan Manuel Corchado, presented the basic data and technical details of the project of the entrepreneurship center to be built on Avenida de la Serna, which will be managed and coordinated by this foundation.

The BISITE Group, the University of Salamanca and INCIBE promote cybersecurity training

The BISITE Research Group is coordinating the CyberCamp edition to be held over the next three years. The National Institute of Cybersecurity of Spain (INCIBE), and the University of Salamanca (USAL), have presented the CyberCamp-USAL program this morning, a benchmark cybersecurity training event for citizens and organizations, which is expected to attract 2,000 participants by 2025.

The BISITE Research Group collaborates with the European Cybercrime Training and Education Group (ECTEG) of Europol in ECTEG Global Cybercrime Certification (GCC), a project that will develop a certification in the field of cybercrime specifically for the State Security Forces and Corps.
