EU budget for digital progress of the future

In the European Union (EU), digital transformation is conceived as the key to unlocking future growth in Europe. Indeed, the EU’s long-term budget, namely the European Multiannual Financial Framework, will help to bridge the EU’s digital investment gap for the period 2021 – 2027.

We had the pleasure of receiving the authorities from the National University of Hurlingham (UNAHUR) Argentina. A commission led by the rector of the house of studies, Lic. Jaime Perczyk, visited the laboratories of the group.

The European Union Council has arrived at several conclusions on the Coordinated Plan for the Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence that is “Made in Europe”.

Traceability: a cryptochip for secure electrical network management

Trustsurvey, the system that allows to verify online surveys

Once again, in line with the most disruptive advances and new technologies, our research group joins Eurostar, The aim of this collaboration is to create Trustsurvey, a new technology that is going to verify online surveys through “Big Data” and Artificial Intelligence.

Our colleague, Alfonso González Briones, is awarded for his PhD thesis

I would like to congratulate one of the BISITE members, Alfonso González Briones who received the second prize sponsored by Sensors, I SENSORS+CIRTI Award for the best national thesis on Smart Cities at the Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA), which had been held in Granada in October.

Working with Prof. Oshima on indoor positioning projects

We have been fortunate enough to have Professor Oshima and his colleagues visit our group. We’ve been working with them on interesting research projects that employ novel technology for indoor positioning.

Dream Go – Artificial intelligence, blockchain and smart grids

The Dream Go project continues to make progress. Different countries, including USA, Germany, Portugal and Spain, have developed numerous systems as part of this project and we are already working on integrating them.
