Students and professors from European Universities that are part of the alliance of EC2U universities, in which the University of Salamanca is integrated, have gathered at the Hospedería Fonseca to participate in the International Talent Week 2023, a week of learning during which attendees have received both specific training for each of the master’s on the “supercampus” and multidisciplinary training for the development of various skills.

The connection between citizens and the urban space seen from a multidisciplinary perspective, physical and psychological well-being, multiculturalism, and languages in Europe, were the key themes of this activity-packed week.
Artificial Intelligence was a must on this extensive training program. That was my task at the International Talent Week 2023 where I gave a lecture under the title: “From Generative AI to Interactive AI: Wellbeing, Mental Health & Cancer” and analyzed how AI is moving towards Generative AI and this, in turn, towards Interactive AI. In addition, I exemplified the talk with case studies of AI use in the healthcare sector.

I thank the alliance of EC2U universities for inviting me to participate in such an interesting initiative and for giving me an opportunity to contribute, as a professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, to the training of the twenty-five students and faculty members who attended this event at the University of Salamanca. The universities of Coimbra, Iasi, Jena, Pavia, Poitiers, Turku and Salamanca make up this alliance which aims to create a large multicultural and multilingual university community of more than 160,000 students.
