MDPI Sensors Journal Hosts 10th International Electronics Conference on Sensors and Applications

In the fast-paced world of technology, sensors play a key role in capturing information from the environment around us. The 10th International Electronic Conference on Sensors and Applications, organized by MDPI Sensors Journal and to be held November 15-30, is a vital platform for the presentation and discussion of the latest advances in the field of sensors. Over the years, this conference has brought together experts, researchers and academics from around the world to share their knowledge, discuss ideas and explore new possibilities in the field of sensors and their applications.

Juan Manuel Corchado, Director of the BISITE Research Group and President of the AIR Institute is part of the conference’s event committee and will participate in this year’s edition, which is expected to bring together hundreds of researchers interested in this topic.

Special Thematic Sessions

This year’s event will focus on the thematic areas in which sensors are transforming science, among them are:

  • Chemo and biosensors
  • Physical Sensors
  • Sensor Networks, IoT and Structural Health Monitoring
  • Sensor Data Analytics
  • Sensors and Artificial Intelligence

Student Session

Participants will have the opportunity to explore and debate advances in these areas, encouraging the exchange of ideas and discussions within the community. The best contributions from each session will be featured in a live event broadcast via webinars through Zoom. In addition, an online competition will be held for students whose contributions will be highlighted in the Student Session.

Research in the field of sensors is advancing rapidly and an electronic conference provides a platform to quickly and directly exchange the latest findings and new ideas. The 10th International Electronic Conference on Sensors and Applications is sponsored by MDPI and the Sensors scientific journal (ISSN 1424-8220, IF 3.847). Papers and presentations from the conference will be available online for discussion from 15-30 November 2023 and will be published in the Engineering Proceedings journal.

Extended and expanded versions of conference papers may be featured in a special issue of the Sensors journal after the event, with a 20% discount on article processing fees.

Sensors is MDPI’s open access journal in the field of sensor and biosensor science and technology.

Best Contribution Awards

To acknowledge the support of the esteemed conference authors and to recognize their outstanding scientific achievements, we are pleased to announce that the conference will award two best contribution prizes and two student prizes. The prizes will consist of 500 Swiss francs for each awardee.

We look forward to your participation! The deadline for abstract submission is 31 August, 2023.  More details on submission can be found here.
