The second Open Call of the DIH-World project has been a success

The second Open Call of the DIH-World project, closed on 28 June, with a total of 59 experiment proposals received from 21 countries. It has been a great success and will be a great opportunity for the selected companies.

The objective of this call is to support innovative experiments that integrate digital technologies in the processes, products or services of manufacturing SMEs. The evaluation will lead to the selection of up to 20 experiments that will join the DIH-World Community and boost the European Digital Innovation Hub landscape with new technologies such as AI, IoT, Big Data or robotics, among others.

The selected companies will be eligible for financial support of up to €95,000. In addition to support for DIH development through the DIH Academy, and a community of DIHs and SMEs willing to strengthen collaboration and learn from each other.

At AIR Institute, as IoT DIH partners, we are part of this community and are committed to working with and supporting the selected experiments in achieving their goals. We have experience in developing innovative projects and work with technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, and others. Therefore, we can provide the tools that meet the needs of each participating company.

DIH-World is an initiative that aims to harmonise and broaden the European DIH landscape to address the “digital innovation hub gap”. This will be made possible through the adoption of advanced digital technologies by manufacturing SMEs.
