IoT DIH organized a successful Community Day on Cybersecurity and Industry 5.0

“Community Day: Cybersecurity in Industry 5.0” took place today, organized by the IoT Digital Innovation Hub in the framework of the DIH World project. An opportunity for companies, government organizations, universities and students to come together and learn about the key aspects of cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 5.0.

Juan Manuel Corchado, Director of the BISITE Research Group and President of the AIR Institute, was in charge of opening the event, and presenting the IoT Digital Innovation Hub and some of the projects they are developing. He also spoke about the importance of cybersecurity in Industry 5.0.

During the conference, researchers Pablo Plaza and Manuel López presented the DeepSIEM platform, a solution that centralizes an organization’s logs and analyzes them in real time in search of threats. DeepSIEM has a comprehensive and intuitive interface that enables data monitoring, report generation and management of alerts and assets.

A round table was also held, in which researchers from the AIR Institute and the BISITE Group presented interesting projects and success stories related to cybersecurity and the Internet of Things.

The main objective of Digital Innovation Hubs is to drive digital transformation, especially in SMEs, with the aim of helping them to become more competitive, through the adoption of technologies. Events like this help to spread this initiative and motivate companies to embark on or improve their digitalization processes.
