I have participated in the International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical and Automation Engineering (ICRAMAE-2k21), which has been held on site in Jaipur, Rajasthan, organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. I delivered my keynote online, but most of the attendees went there in person. Hopefully, we will gradually return to normality.

We presented proposals for improved efficiency in industrial processes, linked to the machine tool industry and its use in different sectors: automotive, wood processing, shipbuilding, etc.
Nowadays the concept of the connected industry and the use of Artificial Intelligence to exploit data is booming; creating efficient tools and processes is essential for competitiveness.

After analyzing the state of the art I have presented several proposals and analyzed success cases in which we have participated. It has been very interesting to discuss these topics with the audience and I am sure that this is a first step towards close collaboration between our research group, BISITE, the AIR Institute and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur.
