“My information in the cloud” is the title of the conference given by Jesús Rodríguez Aragón as part of Module 1 of C1b3rWall Academy 2021: “Networks and architectures”. Jesús Rodríguez Aragón is a Computer Engineer, with a Master in Intelligent Systems and a PhD in Computer Science and Automation from the University of Salamanca, as well as CEO and co-founder of Iberbox.

Both companies and individuals are unprotected with respect to their data and information in the cloud. In addition, having the data somewhere else, such as on other people’s hard drives, means that they are more sensitive to privacy attacks.

After witnessing the problems that companies and individuals were experiencing with the management of information, Javier Serrano Rodríguez and Jesús Rodríguez Aragón proposed the creation of a European cloud, and in this case a Spanish cloud, which would protect and defend the data that is uploaded on it. This project is called Iberbox, and it is the first European cloud that uses point-to-point encryption. The full article is available on News-365.
