Today I had the opportunity to deliver a guest lecture at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education Technology (AIET 2021). This is an event organized by the School of Artificial Intelligence in Education, Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China. AIET seeks to drive high quality research on intelligent systems and cognitive science approaches for educational information technology applications.
The semi-presential conference was held in the Chinese city of Wuhan. At the event, we demonstrated how the BISITE group at the University of Salamanca teaches Artificial Intelligence (AI) and, in turn, how it is applied to facilitate training.
In my lecture, I described how we unified the social media, news-365.press, with the television platform, noixion.tv, which is being used to develop MOOC, creating a new educational model of interaction among students, teachers, communicators and experts, in a dynamic, simple and comfortable way.
The presentation was entitled: The evolution of the continuous learning paradigm in higher education: adapting the curricula to the professionals needs.
As a practical case we presented C1b3rWall Academy, an initiative of the National Police together with the University of Salamanca and the AIR Institute which, in the first of the 17 modules already has about 21,000 participants.
With our intelligent and automated processes, we will reach hundreds of thousands of students, perhaps millions, in this course alone.
Here is a video where you can see part of my participation in the conference.
