The BISITE Research Group and the AIR Institute have collaborated with the Technological University of Panama in the Epidempredict for COVID-19 project. Last week we presented the development results and progress to health officials and research management agencies in Panama. It is an extraordinary and innovative idea that has been developed with hybrid artificial intelligence models and automatic data acquisition and analysis tools.
Dr. Alexis Tejedor de León, Vice Rector of the Technological University of Panama, made an excellent presentation of the project and the infrastructure that this university has provided for its development. The project has been led by Dr. Lilia Muños and Dr. Vladimir Villarreal, and has facilitated the construction of a platform that, in addition to predicting the evolution of the virus, has implemented a mechanism for open data management and access to specific documentation for research in the field of COVID-19.
Thank you for partnering with us, it’ s a grand initiative.
