A few days ago Guide2Research published the seventh edition of the Ranking 2021 of the top 1000 scientists in the field of computer science and electronics worldwide. To be part of it and to be ranked fourth in Spain and 247th worldwide fills me with pride, as it reflects all the hard work we are doing as a research group.
The Guide2Research ranking considers the h-index, citations and the number of DBLP documents. The ranking includes researchers from prestigious universities such as UC Berkeley, University of Maryland, Stanford Robotics Lab or University of Texas, and we have managed to stand out, placing the University of Salamanca on top.
We have also recently appeared in the Stanford Ranking, which identifies the top 2% of researchers. Undoubtedly, teamwork, innovation and constant research yield very good results, we will continue working at the BISITE research group of the University of Salamanca and the AIR Institute, not only to gain recognition but also to contribute innovative ideas and develop them using new technologies.
