The International Conference on Sustainable Smart Cities and Territories (SSCt2021) will feature top panellists, including Ali Al Kuwari, Honorary Speaker at the conference. The symposium, which will be held online April 27-29, will bring together researchers and developers to discuss the latest developments in Smart Cities and Smart Territories.
Ali Al Kuwari, Honorary Speaker
Ali is interim CEO at Msheireb Properties and has eighteen years of experience, specializing in the fields of cost and planning engineering, and project management. He has successfully implemented many projects within Qatar, including the construction of the Ras Laffan Cracker, LPG tanks in Mesaieed, field support workshop warehouses, the QNCC plant’s new fuel gas supply pipeline in Dukhan, the Family Affairs HQ in Doha, and the University of Qatar’s multipurpose hall, to name a few.
At Msheireb Properties, Al Kuwari is responsible for developing and implementing strategic and operational plans for design and delivery management, ensuring that projects are designed and delivered within agreed timelines, budgets and quality measures according to the expectations of the company’s stakeholders.
The SSCt2021 international conference is organized by the BISITE research group at the University of Salamanca, together withTexas A&M University in Qatar, the AIR Institute and the IoT Digital Innovation Hub. No doubt, it will be an inspiring symposium where we will learn about the latest Smart City and Smart Territory innovations, which will enable us to successfully implement them in our cities.
