The market value of the Internet of Things (IOT) is expected to exceed billions of euros in the coming years and, with so much at stake, Europe has to pursue leadership in this field.
The IOTalentum project is a European IOT training network whose aim is to provide future professionals with a global vision of IOT technologies and applications, through training and interdisciplinary research.
IoTalentum will train 15 researchers through doctoral programmes that include coordinated research in different fields of IoT.
The project has been launched online last week. USAL is involved in the project and BISITE will lead the “Cybersecurity” work package, and will supervise two doctoral projects: one on Blockchain applications, and another on the secure management of energy resources in intelligent networks.
