Efforts are being made in Bangalore to create new, better organised and less dense neighbourhoods, through the creation of elevated highways and the use of technology to improve traffic. This city is an example of what shouldn’t be done and also a model to be studied in the future, as I am convinced that the transformation of this city will be radical in the coming decades.
Renewing the city’s mobility will undoubtedly be a great challenge; it will not be an easy job, however, thanks to the capacity of the professionals who work there, it will be possible to design strategies and plans for building a smart city.
Bangalore is currently known as India’s Silicon Valley, despite the chaos that reigns there, innovation and modernity are increasingly taking hold of the city, so it will come as no surprise if in a few years its panorama changes with a better mobility system, improved services and therefore a better quality of life.
