Due to the current health crisis, a large part of our daily tasks are now done online; we work from home, make transactions online and do many other activities online. However, this puts our security on the Internet at a greater risk. Businesses and institutions are now realizing the importance of investing in security solutions, and of establishing a work culture in which such situations can be faced without major difficulty.

Cybersecurity in Focus 2020 is a report which highlighted that 76% of survey participants believed that their organization lacked employees with knowledge of cybersecurity, versus 88% in 2019, which means that there has been an improvement. Nevertheless, the figure is still too high. The majority of businesses do not have the techniques needed to prevent a cyberattack, making our data vulnerable to cybercriminals.

The same research report reveals that 46% of managers intend to apply technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.

In this regard, the University of Salamanca and the BISITE Research Group offer a Master in Internet Security, with the aim of training qualified professionals and of supplying the job market with most demanded experts.

You can get a 25% discount if you are one of the first 5 to enrol in our blended and online  Master in cybersecurity.
