Technology developed at the University of Salamanca to fight against Coronavirus

The BISITE Group at the University of Salamanca is launching collaborative projects and developing technology that will that will help fight the virus. The members of BISITE have been coordinating a grand initiative, to which Béjar has been central. Its purpose is to produce protective material such as masks, gowns, coveralls and face shields.

The success of the initiative has been enormous and we are very thankful to all those who supported it.

Our group has also been working on projects for the development of technology and equipment that will facilitate social distancing, the detection and disinfection of patients and models for the prediction of the evolution of this epidemic.
