I am very pleased to see that our laboratories have been authorised by the Carlos III Health Institute to do tests for Coronavirus detection and thus develop their own test models.

I can still recall the time when some of those laboratories had just been opened and I am pleased to see that their outreach is so strong.

Their huge effort over the years is now being reflected in their contribution to the fight against COVID-19.

Congratulations to Andres, the director of NUCLEUS, and to all his colleagues for the work they have done!
