A few days ago I published an article in the newspaper El Mundo Innovadores related to one of today’s most popular series; Game of Thrones, the cast is made up of outstanding actors, the storyline is catchy, its settings are exceptional and its soundtrack sophisticated, all these have contributed to its popularity, nevertheless, the series owes much of its success to special effects.

All this is possible thanks to Artificial Intelligence, based on digital animations and algorithms that have brought into the series unique moments of great realism.  Tools like Massive make it possible to quickly and easily create intelligent agents and replicate them by thousands and/or millions. These intelligent agents can represent people, animals or objects and although they all have a common model, they have their own peculiarities that make them unique among the others.

The effects that cannot be achieved with real actors, such as those seen in Avatar, Lord of the Rings etc., are designed in detail using special techniques. There are already countless tools for making AI implementations, such as TensorFlow or Spark, so future film productions will most probably continue to evolve in this direction.

In this regard, it is necessary to democratize the use and creation of these applications and AI, platforms such as Global Intelligence, allow for the use of intelligent algorithms and the creation of specific tools for data processing that obviate the complexity of these algorithms.

You can see the article in the printed version of El Mundo Innovadores newspaper, dated April 23, 2019.
