The European Union Council has arrived at several conclusions on the Coordinated Plan for the Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence that is “Made in Europe”.
The Council’s conclusions highlight the importance of supporting the development and use of artificial intelligence in Europe, increasing investment, affirming the excellence of this technology and its applications and strengthening the collaboration between the industry and the academic world in artificial intelligence research and innovation.
Furthermore, they insist on the importance of reinforcing the concepts associated with industrial digitalization and artificial intelligence and promoting the creation of high-quality ICT programs which will help cover the current need for ICT professionals.
