Denisa Reshef Kera joined our group several months ago and is going to stay with us until 2020. Denisa is the third Marie Curie Postdoc in BISITE. Before her were Tiancheng Li and Tiago Pinto, of whom I am very proud, given the results of the projects we worked on together for the past three years.
Our colleague Denisa, is a philosopher and a designer, she comes from the University of Charles in Prague and is developing a research on “Anticipatory Ledgers: design and ethical framework for Distributed Ledger Technologies (blockchain or DAG) and applications (smart contracts)”. One of her projects focuses on smart contracts which are executed through IBM Blockchain and Linux Foundation. In another project, she connects the data from different satellites to the other smart contracts in blockchain.
Denisa is a Marie Curie Senior Fellow and she is a living proof that science and philosophy can go hand in hand, she has experience in science, technology and society and a desire to share her knowledge and make those fields more accessible, open and just for everyone.
No doubt that she is contributing greatly to the projects our group is working on.
