Trustsurvey, the system that allows to verify online surveys

Once again, in line with the most disruptive advances and new technologies, our research group joins Eurostar, a leading company in communication, interactivity and business digitalisation. The aim of this collaboration is to create Trustsurvey, a new technology that is going to verify online surveys through “Big Data” and Artificial Intelligence.

The motivation for creating Trustsurvey is that the degree of credibility of current online surveys is questionable because the answers provided by Internet users may not coincide with the reality. Thus, the developed tool is going to link the answers provided by respondents with the data from their social network profiles in order to detect possible discrepancies and separate the samples of those that manifest contradictions or inconsistencies.

Trustsurvey also benefits from online research and has the support of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in the framework of the program “Challenges in Social Change and Innovation” and is going to last two years.

Finally, I would like to quote what José Miguel de Elías, director of research and analysis at Sigma Dos, has said regarding the project: “This tool will make it possible for us to exploit the advantages offered by online surveys in many more areas, such as political surveys, since their reliability will be comparable to that of traditional telephone surveys”.
