Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Edge Computing for Smart Cities and Smart Grids, at the 13th International Conference on Innovations in Information Technology IIT’18

I feel honoured to participate as speaker in the 13th International Conference on Innovations in Information IEEE (IIT’18), which will take place on the 18th and 19th of November in the city of Al Ain, the fourth biggest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

At the event, we are going to talk about the latest advances in artificial intelligence and ICT. The rapid progress in the field of artificial intelligence has triggered debate on their potential in different areas (society, business, government, etc.).

AI is no more a matter of the future, it is a reality but we must continue to work to reach to its fullest potential. Currently, we are working with computational power, storage capacity, communications technology and human capital in order to become more efficient at incorporating artificial intelligence in our daily activities.

This and other interesting topics like Blockchain and Edge Computing, I will talk about at the conference together with other renowned scientist, researchers and academics from all over the world.

Upon my return I will tell you about all the technological novelties.
