Big cities like Moscow or Singapore, are undertaking changes and promoting and accelerating their transformation to become exemplary smart cities. Some of their objectives include Security, Energetic Efficiency, improved traffic management, etc.
Thanks to technology cities are becoming more efficient and sustainable, providing citizens with greater comfort. Numerous IoT platforms are being developed to deliver services to large cities, facilitating access to data collected by sensors through databases, specialised websites, etc.
I have recently attended the International Conference on Innovations in Information Technology IEEE IIT, which has taken place in Abu Dhabi. Within the framework of the European IoT Digital Innovation Hub, I have had the opportunity to present the work of the BISITE Research Group.
