Miki Ueno from the Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan), collaborates with BISITE in an Artificial Intelligence project

Miki Ueno is another international member of the BISITE group. She comes from Japan, concretely from the Toyohashi University of Technology. She’s been with us since the month of August and will spend a good bit of time here in Salamanca.

During her stay, Miki will focus on the development of various methods and intelligent systems with the aim of analysing the characteristics of comics. She will use Deep Learning in combination with other symbolic systems, to create short comics. One of the objectives of her research is to compare Japanese comic representations with those created in other parts of the world, in this way, increasing the possibility for co-creation.

It is truly a pleasure to work with her. Her ideas in the field of content creation and Artificial Intelligence are truly interesting and we hope to see the results soon and use them to launch new projects in this field.

We are delighted with your project Miki!
