Salamanca University Press positions itself as the 24th best academic Spanish publisher, as indicated in the “Qualitative study of academic press 2018″ elaborated on the basis of data from 2014 to 2017 by the Academic Books Research Group (ILIA) from the Spanish National Research Council.

This is an outstanding merit, given that the press went 25 places up from the last SPI ranking conducted in 2014. The list ranks the first 100 publishers associated with Social Sciences, the scientific community and humanities, our University takes great pride in this recognition.

That’s not all, a few months ago the last four collections have been awarded the  European quality label. We must be proud of our University’s Press, the huge effort of our colleagues, as well as authors and editors of books and journals, has brought tremendous outcomes and is positioning our University at the very top.

I just want to acknowledge their work and encourage authors, editors as well as the very members of EUSAL to continue with the excellent work they do every day.
