New agile project management, key for companies

Project management is one of the leading exponents of technological growth and innovation. Every project is different as it can involve a wide range of factors. The rigid methodologies that have traditionally been used are incompetent in adapting to the specific processes of different projects.

The use of agile methodologies helps to achieve better results in technological projects. The different aspects of a project (equipment, material resources, time, etc.) can be managed better with new, adaptable methods. This is because working models seek to improve production efficiency and quality of final products. In addition, they are capable of responding to problems that arise during the creation process, which could not have been resolved using rigid models. Thus, agile methodologies allow to foresee and counteract future problems.

The skills required of a future project manager may be acquired by taking the Master’s in Agile Project Management at the University of Salamanca, directed by the BISITE Research Group. Once the master’s degree is completed, students will be able to work, manage and direct technological projects using modern methodologies that make processes more flexible, achieving benefits and a rapid profit from their investments.
