While on my trip, I visited the Clemson University, an extraordinary public university that has some of the best teaching technology buildings I’ve ever seen. Interactive classrooms, whose walls have digital screens, ambient microphones and multifunctional furniture. All these facilities allow teachers and students to get the most out of practical classes. The University currently has 24,000 students and a budget of nearly 1,000 million dollars, as a result of donations and the support of companies which choose this University for its quality training. This University strives to create a new generation of professionals, services and civil servants who will strengthen the industrial infrastructure and will change its productive models.
In the pictures you can see some of the classrooms and facilities of the University. One of the pictures shows me together with Rector Clements and my colleague Kumar, after a working lunch. Rector James P. Clements, artificial intelligence professor, is a former rector of West Virginia University.
