The third Data Journalism Course will be offered as part of the collaboration between the BISITE Research Group and the Professional Association of Journalists of Castile and Leon.

This is an online course which has more than fifty students from various autonomous communities and has a duration of six weeks. This course is organized to meet the current needs in the field of journalism, and to ensure that professionals in the sector have knowledge of new advancements and can adapt to new environments. Manuel Benito will be the academic coordinator of the course, he works as a journalist at the Porcentual company.

This course will give students the opportunity to gain more insight into a genre that is an increasingly important element of journalism. Ever-greater amounts of data are available to us and the ability to search, select, validate and manage them is crucial.
