Yesterday, March 15th, I had the pleasure of attending a workshop at the EFREI School of Engineering. Together with my colleagues from this and other European universities, we promoted several international projects related to Blockchain, IoT and Smart Cities.

It is curious to see the expertise of this type of schools in France; the importance they give to quality master’s degrees and practical training, their model of internships in companies is also very interesting. Their aim is to prepare engineers for company management and projects. For this reason, they receive good training in a wide range of areas which complement technical knowledge. They do months of internships in companies from the moment they arrive at the University.

In addition to working on these projects, I had the opportunity to meet with students interested in international stays. I told them about the University of Salamanca and our group and what we’re working on. Two students from this school have already stayed in our group and they did a fantastic job. Soon, another EFREI student, Daniel Regnard, will join BISITE and I hope that many more will come.
