Industry 4.0 II Seminars: the latest novelties in the field and a Makeathon for students

Currently, we are witnessing an industrial revolution which brings humans and machines evermore closer. Industrial processes are undergoing considerable changes and artificial intelligence is used in the different stages of creating a product or designing a service. We live in an exciting world which is advancing rapidly, and we must make sure we play an active role in its development. For all those that are interested in technological challenges, we are organizing a Makeathon, in collaboration with ITQ GmbH and Aplifisa SL. This event will take place on the 10th and 11th of March in Salamanca.

During the event, participants will learn about agile and flexible development methodologies and will develop a functional prototype which will be presented on the last day. This Makeathon will revolve around three key topics: Smart Body, Smart Home and Smart Machine. Participation is free but the number of participants is limited.

If you wish to participate, just send an email to gonzalez@itq.de. If you are interested in finding out more about the event, all information is available on our Facebook webpage: https://www.facebook.com/groups/393671587724394/

This event is part of the Industry 4.0 II Seminars (Meat Industry) which will also take place in Guijuelo. I myself will inaugurate the event on the 8th by giving a talk that provides insight into the Internet of Things and its use in the Agro-food Industry. My colleagues will deal with interesting aspects on the Industry 4.0 revolution.

We’re waiting for you!
