Human resource management is an important element of businesses. It is a decisive factor, if well done it can make an organization competitive and successful. This is the focus of the Sogecloud project (Auto adaptive social machine for corporate management in the cloud.
Reference: TSI-100104- 2015-007 – http://sogescloud.usal.es/inicio). This project is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism under the Strategic Action Economy and Digital Society Program (AEESD). Its objective is to develop a technologically advanced platform which facilitates human resource management, increasing worker’s productivity and improving individual performance. This will contribute to boosting the efficiency of businesses and to the accomplishment of their objectives.

The created platform allows to collect data on relations between workers, social interactions and workplace culture. All this is done in the Cloud Computing environment
combined with Big Data techniques, they allow for the analysis of these data, facilitating the work of human resource professionals. From these analyses it will be possible to detect behavioral patterns and other factors related to organizations’ workforce management.
This project has already been completed. Its development was made possible thanks the
joining of members from the consulting firm Óptima Global Solutions and members of our BISITE Research Group.
