The Council of Salamanca chooses the best projects in its talent attraction initiative

A committee of experts chaired by Barbacid has selected five researchers who will benefit from the talent attraction program which has been promoted by the Salamanca city council over this year. 133 projects from 26 countries have been presented for this call. This initiative will facilitate the incorporation of researchers into our city and it sets out 2.5 million euro for the development of 5 brilliant research projects.

There is no doubt that this is a great boost to the talent of our city and for this reason I would like to give my congratulations to the 5 lucky researchers (Ainhoa, José, Carlos, Pablo y Oriol) and to the city council and FECyT for this great initiative. I hope that other similar calls will emerge and that this will promote our University as a place of meeting and opportunity for promising young talents.
