We are enthusiastic about starting new times and about being committed to our objectives.

I propose a modern, innovative competitive and international University model with teaching as one of its main pillars. I want a firm but peaceful change in order to move towards a competitive University. My 10 years as manager in the University have allowed me to get an in-depth understanding of its weaknesses and strengths, as well as the difficulties it faces.

In my final statement, at the debate with the rest of the candidates, held this evening, I alluded to my dedication to service, with which I present myself in these elections. These were my words:

“Intellectual, theoretical and creative knowledge is very important but there is something that is even more important and that is the knowledge we acquire on the basis of practice and experiences. The 4 years as vice rector have taught me to apply a methodology that will take all of us to a very satisfactory future.

I feel called to service and with a lot of joy, I leave my experience, as well as a group of great professionals, at your disposal. We have a profound understanding of our institution, we know what steps to take in order to launch the projects and to make our University greater and stronger. We like big challenges, and all of us risk a lot in these elections. We are a great University and we have to work to make our future successful and this can start on the 20th of November.”
