The number of companies settled in the infrastructure of the University has almost doubled in the last four years.

As expressed in the report published by the daily La Gaceta de Salamanca when first inaugurated ten years ago, the objective of the Scientific Park was to foster entrepreneurship and disseminate R&D&I beyond the conventional spaces. It is fantastic news that the year 2017, will end with almost 1.100 employees in the 75 companies located on the Villamayor Campus. As a consequence of this, the University of Salamanca finds itself on the 15th national position in the area of knowledge, generating 37 million euro, as described recently in the briefing of the CyD Foundation. Although, the space of the Park is already occupied in 100%, the technical space of its buildings has not yet been fully exhausted, given that we are launching plans for the construction of new buildings and event want to extend the University Campus to Béjar, Avila and Zamora.

We also should not forget that the Park acts as a launching platform for all young entrepreneurs who wish to develop startups and spin offs.
