Green light to the tender for the construction of the M4 Science Park Building

Space required for the entrepreneurs that continually arrive at the Park makes it necessary to redesign the M4 Building.

The Official Bulletin of Castile and León (BOCYL) published on Monday the decision of the Science Park Foundation from USAL. It announced a tender for the contraction, through an open procedure with various adjudication and ordinary processing criteria, of a drafting service for the modification of the basic project and its implementation in the M4 Building of the Scientific Park of the University of Salamanca.

The space in the Science Park is occupied in almost 100%. Indra occupies nearly the whole of the M2 Building and it plans to increase its workforce significantly over the next few years. Also, Everis, the company of a Japanese NTT Data group, has solidified its presence in the Park and has expansion needs that will provide another one hundred jobs in Salamanca. Apart of these companies, entrepreneurs continually arrive at the Park, on average, 2 every month.  This makes it necessary the redesign the M4 Building and complete its construction. This construction will be tailored to the companies that will occupy it and thanks to their model of operation, the construction of the building will not imply any costs for the University.
