The Turtle Room, a pride for the University of Salamanca

The Turtle Room was inaugurated in 1988 and includes a part of the paleontological activity carried out in the Department of Geology since 1965.

Professor Emiliano Jiménez continues to carry out great expository work in the University of Salamanca. He is the soul of the Turtle Room and does not cease his efforts to enhance the outcome of the work that he and many other USAL teachers have done over the years. We have a treasure in the University, for his scientific value and his potential to get us closer to the society.

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to accompany Emiliano along with a group of Relatives of Alzheimer’s patients AFA-Salamanca, during a visit to the Turtle Room. It is a pleasure to listen to Professor Jimenez talk so passionately about all the great treasures that this place holds.

Emiliano, never stop, you have all of our support and recognition! And thank you for the work you do for us and all the people who enjoy what has been attained with many years of hard work and effort.
