The creation of an Agri-food Campus is possible if we empower research institutes of excellence in Castile and Leon.
As described in the article published by the daily newspaper, La Gaceta de Salamanca; The primary sector, one of the economic drivers in Castile and Leon, has been relying for some time on the collaboration of the University of Salamanca and the Provincial Council. This collaboration is related to disseminating research projects which will ease the daily work of farmers, stockbreeders and companies in this sector. This agreement, which already gave positive results, will be strengthened with the help of faculties, such as the Faculty Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and other degrees related to food, found on Zamora’s Campus.
