The book includes photographs of Salamanca’s landscape and reinterpretations of different artists.

University Editions Salamanca presented a book titled “On Victors and Letters” (De vítores y letras), a series of informative texts on the typography and the design of the symbol associated with the University. Additionally, it includes photographs of Salamanca’s landscape and reinterpretations made by different artists.

The victor is a symbol of our University and it is very common to see these symbols in Salamanca, on the buildings which are linked to the University.

At the presentation I was accompanied by the vice chancellor for the Commemoration of the University’s VIII Centenary, Mariano Esteban de Vega; and the director of  University Editions SalamancaEduardo Azofra, and its editor and designer, Emilio Gil.
